FKA Twigs

Cheltenham’s multi-hyphenate star FKA Twigs started her creative career as a 17-year-old backing dancer in South London, performing in music videos for Jessie J, Taio Cruz and Ed Sheeran. Twigs’ 2014 debut album LP1 was nominated for the Mercury Prize and after this year’s release of her first mixtape, Caprisongs, she became the youngest solo act and first Black woman to be awarded the NME’s Godlike Genius Award.
